I came into this with a lot of questions. The big one being can we make money from it and, of course, is it worth getting into.

Throughout this post I will delve deep into these answers and my experience and my setup.

I am still very new to this. I only started about 2/3 months ago. Don’t take my word as gospel. I am really just exploring this area still and just reporting on what I have found out so far. I am no financial guru or financial advisor. With all that being said

Let's get cracking.

What is crowdfunding?

(Usually) Small business ask for money. They send their information out to companies like gofundme, crowdcube, sedders (These are the 3 I use but there are many more out there. A google search should survive but I would suggest sticking to these).

Than people like you and me either… Donate based, Reward based (which, as investors were not that interested in) Loan based crowdfunding and Equity based(The two we want to choose as investors).

It’s a way for companies to generate a lot of money for a large amount of people. Rather than a large amount of money from one/two people.

My experience and advice

You need to understand what your investing into. I’ll try to go into some detail on here. Especially on the ones I have already…
